McKenna Lynch
Hello! My name is McKenna, and this next year I’m going to be a sophomore! This is going to be my second year on TDF, and I can’t wait to see our growth in this next season.
My passion for dance started at the age of 3. I was at a family member’s wedding, dancing my heart out, when my parents had decided I should try out some dance classes. At 4 years old, I took my first tap/ballet combo class. I had immediately fallen in love with the art. As the years started going by, and I had learned to love all styles. Each year I had learned new skills, improved technique and my performance, and somehow managed to register for more classes. By middle school, I had committed so much that the love for this art had changed to the love for this sport. In sixth grade I had joined the Step by Step Dance competition team. Even through the Covid pandemic, I managed to push through, and try my hardest to improve. That leads us to last year. My first year on Tour de Force, as a freshman. Walking in I had no idea what to expect, but was pleasantly greeted with lots of love, and challenges that helped me grow not only as a dancer but as a person. I was given the amazing opportunity to join their competition team, and I’m so glad I did. I cannot express the love I have for this team. I can’t wait for the next 3 years with RBHS dance.
