Mishaye Thumbiran

I’m Mishaye! I am a senior and this is my first year of JV dance. I started dancing in 6th grade with an Indian dance style called Kathuk and in 9th grade I ventured into different genres such as ballet and hip-hop. My favorite genre is ballet and this is my second year on pointe.

I’m Mishaye! I am a senior and this is my first year of JV dance. My favorite color is pink and I like to spend my free time with my family or with something creative like painting and knitting. I started dancing in 6th grade with an Indian dance style called Kathuk and in 9th grade my sister convinced me to pursue different genres such as ballet and hip-hop. My favorite genre is ballet and this is my second year on pointe. When I dance I feel like I’m flying and my favorite memories come from little improvements whether that is jumping a little higher, or being able to float a turn– other than that my cherished dance memories are from making friends and goofing around.
